Toll on Slovak road with GX SOLUTIONS

Since its introduction electronic toll collection has been a living, yet already closed topic. However, objections to the topic of toll from various perspectives on the part of not only Slovak carriers remain. Shortcomings of toll functionality have been analyzed and doubts about data falsification, which would lead to increased expenses for carriers, remain. GX SOLUTIONS has not been passive in the face of this issue. With its monitoring system the company has brought carriers a possibility to verify real expenses for toll fees and to control the tolled road sections which they really used. A carrier will simply choose a period and a specific vehicle and monitoring from GX SOLUTIONS will provide them with overall information about the traveled sections on the basis of detailed GPS positions as well as their transparent graphical depiction. It will provide the carrier with information about toll price for a given period on the basis of tolled road sections the carrier traveled. The acquired data enable a simple comparison – the system generates prices for traveled sections in the real time right after the vehicle has covered them. The carrier can factor this aspect into, for example, transport or services invoicing and does not need to wait for price documentation from the toll system. As far as time is concerned, it is very effective for the carrier. At the same time, the carrier is able to check correctness of accounting retrospectively based on the saved history in the frame of monitoring.
