Thanks to the joint effort the Children's Faculty Hospital with Polyclinic in Bratislava can look forward to a new automatic rehabilitation bed, which will contribute to faster healing of children. Children are our future and we all realize the complexity of the situation when they find themselves in the hospital premises.

Part of the financial contribution will also serve for better management and equipment of a rehabilitation room for children and children's corner in order to make their stay in a hospital bed more pleasant.

The Association for Help to Children's Oncology at the Children's Faculty Hospital with Polyclinic in Bratislava received the contribution in the total amount € 2,645.84. We already know that these resources will be used efficiently.

The company GX Solutions, partner for carriers by monitoring their vehicles, goods and property, attended this evening event. We pleased one of the guests also by a sponsorship donation in the tombola. President of the association Pavol Jančovič opened the ball by his speech and a symbolic blow to the gong. An experienced and well-known presenter Andrej Bičan accompanied the guests through the whole evening. Folk music, cymbalo band, wonderful DJs in the rhythms of modern music production entertained the carriers. The accompanying program was complemented by the performance of dance groups. The main surprise of the evening was a Czech music perennial star Lenka Filipová, who made the entire hall sing. The carriers entertained and friendly discussed on various social topics till the white morning.

On January 25 and 26 the Institute for International Research organized a meeting of important representatives and experts from the Fleet Management it the Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Prague.

The company GX Solutions contributed to the conference by highlighting the advantages of modern technologies and procedures saving costs and time in the fleet management. The conference was targeted at the exchange and sharing experience and searching for an optimal, more effective management of a corporate fleet. This of course leads to more sophisticated procedures which are based on obtaining the right information.

An event entitled Automotive & Logistics Football Challenge 2010 was organized under the patronage of the project sportoveturnaje.sk which has had long-time experience with organizing sport events for companies from various business segments and branches in Slovakia.

On November 6, 2010 GX SOLUTIONS, a.s., came to Bratislava Sporting Centre of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports (FPES) of Comenius University in Bratislava to pit their strengths not only against customer companies such as NAD-RESS Senica and Express Slovakia but also other leading companies from the area of logistics and automotive. Out in the field we had a chance to see futsal art of the following companies:
Volkswagen Slovakia, Škoda Auto Slovensko, Volvo Truck Slovakia, GEFCO Slovakia and many others. Altogether 26 teams participated in the sport event and futsal matches took place in two sport centers – in the hall of FPES and in the hall of the Culture and Recreation Park (PKO) in Bratislava. After a demanding day the company GX SOLUTIONS was ranked at the beautiful 4th place in Group D where they also pit their strengths with the actual winner of 2009 – the company NAGEL Slovensko.

A friendly sport atmosphere of that Saturday was sealed and thoroughly discussed at the closing party in Bonbón Hotel in Bratislava where the representatives of competing teams could have gone through not only eventual erroneous techniques but also game strategies for the next year and initiated potential cooperation with companies which might be interesting partners in their respective fields.

In addition to vehicle localization, operation monitoring or fuel measuring and monitoring, GX SOLUTIONS in its monitoring development puts an accent on a regular contact between a dispatch centre and drivers. With its solutions it offers carriers monitoring with the multifunctional terminal GT5. The monitoring system with GT5 gets under control drives, transports and the activity of personnel, thus saving operational costs as much as possible. The terminal communication system maintains a constant on-line connection between the dispatch centre and the driver as well as among individual drivers. It monitors both a kilometric and time course of a transport up to the level of goods control. GT5 takes over the control of transport in action, communication, navigation, attendance and work of a driver, including authorizations for specific vehicles and drives. A dispatcher, not a driver, decides on a route and its planning; which saves you many kilometers otherwise driven in vain. The dispatch centre does not call but sends orders and instructions to the driver by way of a few clicks in the system, straight to the monitor in a vehicle. In turn, the driver informs on the actual situation of the drive, transport regime, semi-trailer identification, and the location of performance, loading and unloading of the shipment directly from the vehicle. An outcome is an electronic record of the operation directly from the vehicle – an activity log.

GT5 already contains a GPS system SYGIC with an option of direct setting – with proportions and weight loading of a carriage set. TIR restrictions can also be set. The dispatcher sends suggested transport routes and crossing points which are most suitable. This fact also has an impact on the cost optimization.

In order to facilitate activities and processes, the terminal enables the driver to send files such as electronic invoices or CMR directly to the dispatch centre. All you have to do is to connect a small hand scanner to the terminal through a USB port. Another advantage of GT5 is a reverse camera for on-line monitoring of the space behind a vehicle. Another camera input is ready for a general use; using it, you are able to monitor the space inside the driver’s cabin or carriage.

Terminal communication via GPRS transmission facilitates an instant exchange of information, thus providing an overview of the situation and loading of transports. You are completely informed about the course and handling of shipments. The situation at transport routes can be hardly predicted and GT5 makes operative management of drivers’ actions, awareness of all non-standard situations or controllability of every change in the plan possible as well. Only with target-focused communication, which is convenient especially for roaming, you will be able to perform transport abroad profitably. The terminal GT5 and transport monitoring with GX SOLUTIONS can also guarantee your customers a long-term successful cooperation with your transport company; they will not just look for lowest-cost services anymore since GPS monitoring of vehicles and transports is often a requirement of the commissioner for performances and services of carriers.    

GX SOLUTIONS as an expert in vehicle monitoring with an accurate and reliable monitoring system which particularly leads to operation costs economy of company vehicles could not have been absent at this event. The organizers of the event succeeded in preparing an indeed beneficial day. Visitors and invited guests were able to listen to expert presentations which focused on the key topic: how to increase effectiveness of fleet management. The partners of the event introduced their companies at their stands and presentation areas where GX SOLUTIONS also registered an increased interest in offered solutions.

The afternoon program was in token of beautiful luxurious cars. One could have taken advantage of testing drives and there was also drawing of lots with interesting automobile prices from the company ARVAL. Partner car companies came to present their brands, such as: BMW, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Toyota, Volvo, Hyundai, Opel, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Fiat, Peugeot, Seat and others.

Probably the biggest interest was aroused by a presentation of the brand Ford which offered an opportunity to drive in a special tuned sports vehicle Ford Focus RS with the driver and multiple Slovak champion (classes E1 and E1+2000) Martin Koiš.

The representatives of GX SOLUTIONS introduced advantages and assets of our GX FLEET solution to potential customers. It is a solution developed especially for monitoring of company passenger vehicles.

Our co-operation draws on long-term good relationships built by the subsidiary GENETECH s. r. o. which are certainly going to be fostered in the future as well. The trademark of our company in the realm of vehicle monitoring therefore appeared alongside partners of such sound names as DAF, IVECO, VOLVO, SCANIA and others.

The whole Saturday was dominated by the topic of Western attractions, contests, and great fun. The visitors could have not only tasted various grill specialties but also experienced the world from the horseback or saddled a wild bull. The introductory ceremony was opened by the President of the association ČESMAD SLOVAKIA Ing. Pavol Jančovič and the Minister of Transport, Construction and Regional development Ján Figeľ. For the whole day the guests could have enjoyed witty comments of the anchorman Andrej Bičan. The organizers prepared for the visitors a fun day full of games for children, a beauty salon for the attending ladies, and many refreshments and specialties which certainly delighted senses of the participating gentlemen.

The representatives of GX SOLUTIONS, a. s., as a partner of the event met with their customers and partners, thus getting an informal chance to strengthen their mutual friendly as well as business relationships. In relaxed atmosphere there was also a discussion on what is new in GX SOLUTIONS as far as vehicle monitoring of both intrastate and international transport is concerned. We also introduced our company to the Minister who was so kind as to agree with a photo of him together with our business representatives and the President of the association ČESMAD SLOVAKIA.
