Electronic activity log and transport management

Electronic records of vehicle operation – activity log – serve to monitor and coordinate driver’s activities on-line. Thanks to modern terminals the driver is able to set up a new electronic activity log directly in the vehicle. Thus you do not need to wait for the driver’s return from the field, you do not have papers pointlessly piling up around you and you do not need to worry about accuracy and completeness of information which are often affected precisely by the human factor.

This solution is an excellent tool for prevention, awareness and control up to the level of goods monitoring. It saves time, provides immediate exchange of information and helps increase the transport quality. With every transport, complex awareness of traffic conditions, a specific performed shipment and driving modes are necessary in order to provide maximal effectiveness of your transports. The dispatch centre obtains information about a specific drive, parking, stops of the vehicle, etc. It can communicate more easily and conveniently and send the driver ever new shipments; it plans routes and operatively manages performances according to a current situation. It sends the driver guidelines or any possible changes in transports via text messages. The driver receives instructions and dictates a current condition (loading, unloading, break, load weight, etc.). The dispatch centre also obtains information about a connected/disconnected semi-trailer with a special assessment and monitoring of the motion of semi-trailers on individual trucks. According to entered indications and changes, data on time, place and traveled kilometers update automatically. The driver chooses actual conditions, driving modes, and locations for work performance. Consequently, the monitoring system makes fast processing of transport and data for invoicing possible; it can be done for both day-to-day operations and more complicated transports which include numerous subcontracts (transport to one’s own premises, wooden matter transports, etc.).

At the moment, we are offering a brand new terminal GT 5 with an in-built navigation as a communication tool and a way of obtaining an electronic activity log. It represents an optimal device for targeted, regulated and demonstrable co-operation between a driver and a dispatch centre as well as unlimited low-cost on-line message communication (it also supports standard SMS communication). It differs from previous model series of the terminals especially in functional and technical facilities.
