How does the GPS monitoring system work combined with proper communication?
In the field of fleet and technical appliances monitoring, we mostly make use of terminals - allowing us to establish an immediate cooperation and maintain continuous contact with our customers. These external devices are either mounted right to the customer’s vehicles and machines and they are connected to the control unit of the monitoring system.
The communication flows either way - from the dispatching unit to the driver and vice versa; moreover, it is also present between the individual drivers - without any limitations. The forms of communication include text messages (receiving and sending) via a GPRS data transmission protocol. A driver chooses between two options of sending the information - the data can be sent individually from the vehicle - either to the dispatching center or to another vehicle as well. This method significantly reduces the costs, as the customer now takes advantage of the existing discounts and benefits, in particular when it comes to roaming. You do not have to pay your unnecessary bills anymore invoicing you services that you do not even need. You just pay for the actual data, really transmitted. For the purposes of giving you an overview of all the data flow, the whole communication is archived and stored in the monitoring system’s database. Such a connection is unlimited in terms of capacity; and, the data is encrypted by the means of compression and cryptography. This is where you might make use of our data service tool. Terminal GT2 – transport, construction, technology
In terms of development, it is the first type of terminal, which is recommended especially for the use in the building and handling technology. However, it is also suitable for transport companies. It serves mainly to:

Terminal GT2 is resistant to harsher treatment, dust, dirt and has less memory capacity as its developmental successors.
Terminal GT3 - truck and bus transport
This type is suitable for all companies with regular drives with the same purpose, where it is necessary to clearly know the information on transport, drive, type of work or activity of the vehicle crew. It has a larger and clearer graphical display, enough memory, ergonomic buttons for quick menu navigation and practical control.

Decide on the information speed!
If the vehicle is equipped with driver’s digital card the reader can be linked with the terminal GT3 and it is possoble to download data which can be sent to the controller to the monitoring system. The reader simply provides a way to have information without having to remove vehicles from their scheduled routes while meeting the occupancy of drivers as defined by law. A complete information entry is stored by the terminal right upon being generated by the driver’s card. The terminal contains data storage to save the contents of two drivers’ cards. Data are transferred via GPRS. The data file is processed and evaluated by the system. Within that, data is archived and can be directly exported in different formats or linked with other applications.
GT5 terminal with camera and scanner - forwarding, logistics, buses, business, services
GT5 is the latest development terminal line for communication. It is distinguished by an elegant packaging, advanced colour graphic processing, functional and technical equipment. The device is simple to install in any vehicle operated by a touch screen. Handling is simple - in the main menu you choose what you need at the moment from the options and you transparently follow this line, according to the options offered.
The terminal provides all functionalities needed. A huge benefit is that the device is designed with an integrated Sygic navigation and is ready for connecting various peripherals and expansion by other applications.

Communication via PDA
Communication via PDA is appropriate also for passenger and commercial vehicles, fleets of commercial distribution and courier companies.
PDA includes options of integrated features for wireless communication, as well as the possibility of integration with other applications. With the use of a special software application installed on your PDA, text messages are sent via data transfer. Communication is done simply through bluetooth towards the control unit in the vehicle. It is done via one card, one data package. With the loss of connectivity with the mobile unit, the data in re-establishing of communication are synchronized.
Management of shipments and performances with electronic activity log
GX SOLUTIONS Monitoring system provides also an accurate system of operation records - an electronic record of vehicle operation, equipment - an electronic, digital activity log book. You get an automatic output that contains information about the operation of the vehicle, machine and on different journeys. It contains information about the status, timing, modes, performance. All this is on-line, without any papers and without any driver's intervention.
The solution is implemented using the terminals (GT3, GT5) and by such a practical communication system you can comprehensively manage shipments, immediately informing the driver, the dispatch centre and the charterer. The terminal takes an absolute and continuous control of shipments and the GPS monitoring system does things instead of you - from the beginning of the shipment, through monitoring of its status and progress, communication and coordination with the dispatch centre to the completion of the order.
The dispatch centre is enabled a targeted, proven and preferable communication with the driver. The system creates a shipment in the system and sends new orders for shipment directly to the driver in the vehicle. It continuously controls performance and activities of the driver according to the current situation. Using text messages over GPRS wire transfer the driver receives instructions or information on any changes during the shipment. The driver informs the dispatcher of the current status - loading, driving, break, unloading... The dispatching receives also information about a connected and disconnected trailer, as the driver enters it in the terminal. Tracking the movement of trailers on individual trailers is evaluated separately. Thanks to the reliable identification of the driver from the moment of signing the history of working activity is being recorded in relation to the desired schedule and performance. GT5 terminal has also a directly integrated navigation, allowing the driver an easy orientation and there is no need for a separate navigation device in the vehicle. In the GPS system, the dispatch centre can precisely define the destinations - the place of loading, unloading... that are displayed to the driver on the terminal.
The drivers do not have to write up data after their working hours, fill totals of kilometers and hours and submit them immediately for further treatment. You do not have to wait for data from the drivers' papers after their return, which often contain inaccurate and inadequate data. The driver can create an electronic activity log right in the vehicle. It is done automatically by selecting the actual status, choosing driving modes and the place of work. According to the specified data and changes, the data on the time, location, kilometres traveled are added automatically. The monitoring system automatically evaluates the effectiveness of transport - periodically repeated on a daily basis, but also more complex shipments consisting of more sub-contracts.
