How does GPS monitoring of shipments of timber work?
The solution offers several options according to the needs of buyers of timber, or specific requirements of suppliers of timber. Vehicles are equipped with a silent control unit to obtain a comprehensive record of operation. The simplest option of check, for who the shipment is intended is the manual switch indicating the drive for a customer. The higher form is the mode console, on which the driver using 6 buttons chooses a specific plant, specific sawmill, customer. However, the most desired option is on-line connection of the dispatch center with the driver, for which GX LOGISTIC uses the terminal communication. Terminals take control of transport – distance and time course and also activity of the driver.
GX LOGISTIC is designed for every type of shipment, and in addition to monitoring of vehicles and individual shipments it also measures the fuel level in the tank and monitors fuel consumption and handling with fuel. It provides an overview of work of auxiliary devices (mode of measurement of speed, temperature, etc.) and specific monitoring of trailers. It ensures identification of drivers with the control of performance of activities, compliance with AETR and data for meal allowance in individual countries of transition and stay.
